Dear Schweppes…

I first spied Schweppes Agrum in a small French market. It was a warm day and I was thirsty. Did I want my old stand by Coke Zero? No. I saw this in the store and said, “I will try that.”

That is when my two week obsession began. I had it whenever I could. I got it in restaurants and in stores. We bought some to keep in the car and in the hotel room as we went from place to place.

In the airport, I bought 4 to bring home. Had I known, I would have filled my suitcase with it, if I could get away with it. Never mind the wine, I should have packed Agrum.

After two weeks in France, we get home and start to Google. Can you get Agrum in the United States?

The answer to that is a big N-O!

I can not seem to find it online to buy or in any of the European type stores in Boston. It was a big let down. We were considering having my guy’s French cousin send us some. Yes, mailed Schweppes Agrum.

Please  Schweppes, there are a growing amount of Americans, who after visiting France, would love to drink Agrum when we got home. Please Schweppes, make it available online, if not in stores. You would have a very happy customer. I look at the shelves of Schweppes ginger ales and think, “Agrum should be here!”

I will have to go back to France next year just to drink Schweppes Agrum.

  4. Well talk coincidence. Just returned from Europe (Aug 7) and a week in Paris. Discovered Agrum and could not stop drinking it. Came home and went shopping to stock up. OMG - it is not sold in the US. Schweppes needs to bring it here!

  5. So so upsetting that we can't get this over here I brought back a case five years ago and still have four cans left it is necter and for the to not sell it here is outrageous. I have sent several letters to various parties and not a single response I am running a campaign locally to have them sell Agrum but since no one can try it it's not going well. All I can is wait, I figure place an order with Amazon and eventually they will have limited quantities. Hopefully

  6. I too cannot believe they do not sell Agrum in the US, we are in Europe for 6 months and found it the first week here - I HATE orange soda so was amazed when I had this. Reminds me of Orange Crush when I was a kid, it was not orange and tasted like Agrum but then they sold out to a big company and it became yucky orange soda. Scheppes has other soda in Spain and Portugal that is similar Orangina and Naranja (sp?) both are also good but Agrum is the best. The soda in Europe is also not as sweet as the US, why is it that obese America gets more sugar put in our products? I'll join your quest to bring it to the US!
