Winter is…..

Winter is the perfect time for:

Reading – I am reading a big pile of books. From fantasy to romance to history and everything in between, I have been reading. Here are some books I enjoyed:

Reviews on Sunday!

Taking Care of Myself – During the winter, I find myself not wanting to go that extra step to make myself presentable. Shaving, make up, skin and nails all suffer during the winter. Why bother?

Well, this winter, I am changing that.

Learning New Things – I can not ice skate, roller skate, swim or ski. I will learn one of those things.

Some good news – I lost 2.6 pounds during my first week using My Fitness Pal.

Good for you for taking care of yourself and wanting to learn new things. And congrats on the weight loss!

  2. Congrats on the loss!!! My pile of "to read" books appears to be never ending. Unfortunately my Netfliz Instant Queue tends to win in the battle of "what to do" :)

    1. I have a long list on both but reading is my go to. I am currently slogging through the TV show Supernatural on Netflix.

    2. I really need to start subscribing to replies! I *JUST* finished catching up with Supernatural!!! It was sad seeing it disappear from my "continue watching" list because there was nothing to continue with ...

  3. great news about the weight loss!

Oh... I shave maybe once a week in the winter. I also need to change this because I feel much better when I shave every few days.

I am also reading a pile of books I've saved for winter.

    1. I don't know why doing what is good for you is so hard to do sometimes.

    1. You should join Goodreads.com! It is an enabler but you can keep a to-read, read and currently reading list.
