Cold Sundays

I hate Sunday nights. The thought of working Monday morning makes me cringe. To top it off, I have quite a sinus headache tonight and feel a cold coming on. My boss was sick last week plus riding the T everyday does have cold catching downfalls.
The good news is my Denver trip is in less than 2 weeks. I am looking at what to try to see, after the mountain we are going to and the rodeo on Saturday. Have you been to Denver in the winter? What did you like?
Today made up for my lack of eating yesterday. I went to my favorite place, with Secret Sister, in Quincy for breakfast, the Wheelhouse Diner, and had a great breakfast. The people who work there are funny and today, while they were temporarily out of bananas, they began to sing, "Yes We Have No Bananas!" It made me smile.
I made some Republic of Tea green tea this afternoon and it made me feel better but now, the effect is over. I should make some jello. Jello is more of a psychological thing for me when I don't feel good.

  1. My mom used to give me jello that wasn't refrigerated when I was sick. Kinda like jello juice - isn't that funny?

I hope you feel better soon. Green tea always seems to help me feel better.
